WHY CAN'T WE ALL JUST JOIN ISKCON, THE BEST BRANCH OF THE TREE OF LORD CAITANYA? If it wasn't for Srila Prabhupada, where would we all be today? Surely no one in the Western world would have heard about Krishna from his godbrothers, who were practically useless outside of India, and who ruined the Gaudiya Math within India with their kanistha quarreling and arguments.

Tue, October 9, 2007 - 4:51 PMYour pretty much nuts. the Gaudiya Matha godbrothers were Srila Prabhpads life and soul. if you haven't guessed it by now, which i know most of you have not, Prabhupada himself was a bit of a trickster.
but i agree with you on one thing, we all need to come back to ISKCON, you read my mind. In fact, I recommend infiltrating ISCKON to the max with vaisnavas of all factions, reclaiming Krsna's beloved temples. Some of the elderly devotees who have kept those temples alive thru CIA and tribulations of all sorts are the heart of the movement, and i want to take the dust of their lotus feet upon my head. -

Wed, October 10, 2007 - 8:31 AMonce again your getting too carried away in your mind as to whats happening and whats possible. i simply recommend that people STOP boycotting ISCKON, it was long since infiltrated by the government and also vaisnavism has been co-opted by so many religious groups. but i wouldn't let that keep us away from the temples of our divine spiritual master, Sri Krsna. Real spirituality is always under seige by various demons and demon wannabes. does that mean we should give it up? no! Those temples are there for us and waiting in them are some of Srila Prabhupads very loyal disciples, waiting for the world to reclaim all that has been preserved. If your in the Gaudiya line, you belong in ISCKON. -
