I have a question to who ever is in the know,
How do one make the gee lamp from dough, in the shape of the lotus flower? and how do one make sure that after the Arati the dough lamp is baked to be offered as prasada.
I have made this dough lamp before, but it never realy baked enough during the offering to be given as prasada after.

Fri, March 3, 2006 - 8:45 PMI would like to be more specific about my description, and to apologies if I miss led some one, the name of it is pista-deepa, and according to what I read about it the dough should get cooked by the time the offering is done and be given as prasada to the devotees after.
I hope it is clearer now and sorry again if I misled you.
