Recently, in fact in the latest issue of Back to Prabhupada, apparently Krishna Kant Desai has come to the conclusion that Shivarama Swami is a pretender. I don't have the issue with me because I tore it up and threw it in the garbage. However I want to say that KKD has no right to criticise a direct Prabhupada disciple. I cannot speculate on this devotee's mood, so how KKD can say with conviction that SRS is pretending is beyond me.
Follow the ettiquite of the Vaishnavas Krishna Kant Desai. You are not even initiated. You cannot criticise the direct disciples of Srila Prabhupada. I know you wish you were his direct disciple but you're not. Get over it. Find yourself a bona-fide guru in ISKCON or jump out of the boat in the middle of the ocean and swim to shore.
Due to your offenses you will never recognise who is a bona-fide guru and who is not. But there is one thing I thought of as a reason why Krishna would want you to continue on with your IRMSCKON society. And that is whoever has lost faith in Srila Prabhupada because he left gurus and sannyasis in charge who were less than uttama adhikaris in many cases can at least come up with some sort of justification to continue to worship Srila Prabhupada.
Srila Prabhupada didn't make any mistakes. He used the disciples he had available to spread Krishna Consciousness. He made sannyasis to set the standard, and not all fell down. And now a challenge for the IRM, try to find all the quotations where Srila Prabhupada said his disciples would be allowed to initiate and list them all in one issue of BTP, and try to defeat them one by one. This should be good, because I don't see how you will be able to defeat Srila Prabhupada. And I know you are reading this because you copied it in the latest issue of BTP, issue 19, Spring of 2008.
